About 9 Inch Letto

Art has found its way into Naeri's life for as long as she can remember — in a lot of different forms. But dance was always the one that stood out.

Around twelve or thirteen, that meant K-pop cover dance — learning routines, performing them with friends, chasing that particular kind of joy. A bit later, street dance found its way in too. And then, for a while, dance stopped. Life went in other directions, the way it does, and she didn't go back to it.

Around twenty-eight, she started noticing that something was still missing. She couldn't quite name it yet.

The turning point was small and almost accidental: a video from Aliyah Janell, the kind you stumble on late at night on YouTube. Watching it, something came back into focus — the exact thing she'd been missing without realizing it. Dance.

She went looking for heels classes and found Antwerp Heels. One weekly class turned into a habit, and the habit turned into a room full of women chasing the same feeling she was. She kept going, then added more classes and workshops at other schools, slowly building her technique back up — and building it further than before.

About half a year in, the idea arrived fully formed: she wanted to build a place of her own. Somewhere more women could reconnect with themselves, build confidence, and feel safe learning and expressing themselves through dance.

That idea became 9 Inch Letto.
